THE ICARUS TEST

At Image Armor we do a LOT of testing on our products to make sure that we can provide our customers in the Direct To Garment printing market with the best possible products. So, we though “Why Not?”. This resulted in us utilizing the ICARUS Test on our Image Armor TITANIUM DTG Pretreatment. 

The ICARUS TEST is a full on take of the Greek mythology story of Icarus who had wings, flew too close to the sun and the sun melted his wings – leading to his gruesome death. In our case, we preferred NOT to die but we did utilize our paramotor to fly to altitude on a sunny day to test if TITANIUM would discolor in the sun prior to the shirt being washed (most DTG pretreatments will discolor when exposed to UV sunlight rather quickly).
